Well Movember is over for another year… and what a month its been! Our lads have really gone for it in the ‘grow a mo’ stakes and we hope you liked our updates along the way.
The boys have raised an amazing €1,219!

A little update on our ‘McCann Mo Bro’s’ whose efforts are taking on a variety of forms and colours.
But first of all - a little interesting fact about Moustaches, particularly the regulation of them. Yes, some countries do regulate the wearing of facial hair. Over the years, the male fashionista’s out there have gone to great lengths and come up with a variety of different types of moustaches. But if you’re a member of the Australian Army their dress manual states:
“Moustaches worn by servicemen are to be neatly trimmed and are not to exceed two centimetres in length. No part of the moustache is to extend below the top lip or the corners of the mouth. Handlebar and similar styles are not permitted.”
No such rules here my friends… Ray is on track with his Hulk Hogan style. Matt as predicted is halfway towards a ‘Ming the Merciless’ and Shane seems to be the one getting most stick for his efforts (judging by the obscure amounts he’s being sponsored for).
But now for the important part, and in the words of Jerry Maguire: “Mo me the money!” (sorry), we’re on track with over €425 raised so far, which is fantastic news - keep it coming folks, your support is very much appreciated. Ray, Matt and Shane have gamely taken up the challenge to take part in this Global fundraising event to raise awareness for Prostate Cancer.
They’ll start ‘Movember’ with a clean shaven mug, and over the course of the month they’ll cultivate their stylish moustache’s… or ‘Mo’s’.
These fabulous ‘hairy’ ribbons are intended to raise awareness for Prostrate Cancer, leading to early detection and ultimately changing the face of men’s health. But getting back to changing OUR three men’s faces… Let me introduce you to them.
